Farma-neut or Farmanaut?

Hi Reader,

"Hi, can we plan for a Farmaneut demo?"

Farma-what? Farma-neut?

As I started to visualize this new type of unhappy and somewhat grumpy medical professional, a wave of doubt made its way through my body.

But soon thereafter, a warm feeling of thriving ambition made its way back to me, producing a big smile on my face.

We love our customers for their enthusiasm but far underestimated their creativity.

When developing market intelligence software, we felt like astronauts exploring space. The name Farmanaut was born and ready to be shared with many professionals navigating the pharmaceutical space.

Little did we know what our customers would fantasize about, when hearing Farmanaut: complaining* pharmaceutical professionals?
(*for the non-Flemish speakers: “neuten” means to complain, and this sound-a-like association with Farma-naut does not seem to be rare)

Whatever those fantasies may reveal, at Digile we are very ambitious in serving our customers and their complaints.

Digile has the ambition to turn all Farmaneuting professionals into happy Farmanauts.
And that mission is a driving force
🧑‍🚀.

Speaking about complaints...

one of the loudest and clearest frustrations we hear from professionals in pharmaceutical companies is the consistent follow-up of CTG/CRM-agendas they receive from Pharma.be or Medaxes.

Filtering data from unstructured pdfs inevitably leads to unavoidable -but very human- errors.

It takes time to scroll through the agendas every two weeks, or to reconstruct timelines of reimbursement tracks: think about what you could do in this spare time.

Additionally, ask yourself: is scanning CTG pdfs the most rewarding task for a highly skilled professional like me?

Complaints about data handling? Sounds like crossing Digile's mission.
Therefore, we are now developing a monitoring service for CTG agendas.

  • Forget manual pdf handling and copy-pasting

The Farmanaut service encodes the agendas for you :-)

You’ll consistently find it in one shared company-wide access point, from the draft on. Interactive views of the agenda lead you to product information and timelines.

  • Let important events come to you, without even spending a minute of your time on it

The CTG agendas follow a strict schedule, sometimes interfering with yours.

Do not let CTG plannings dictate your priorities: the service can proactively notify you on new events for a specific brand name, substance or ATC code.

  • Reconstruct the negotiation and reimbursement ‘story’ of the product of interest to you.

We integrated the events in a timeline in which you can follow the complete track of events for a (group of) medicine(s).

From authorization, EMA label extensions, over CTG to effective reimbursement, price (change) and launch.

Are you manually processing the agendas from Pharma.be or Medaxes?

Do you sometimes miss a competitor's move?

Do you miss a centralized intuitive tool to consult and monitor reimbursement tracks in a larger context?

Hi Reader, “We sometimes feel like a helpdesk”, the market access manager confessed, ‘but it’s mission impossible to keep track of all label extensions, changes to reimbursement criteria and upcoming launches for every possible competitor’. And she continued: “During holiday periods or with staff turnover, we get particularly stressed to keep track of all the information, stored in multiple Excel spreadsheets that need to be permanently updated and exchanged between colleagues”. Is continuity...

Hi Reader, Do you remember the days you were buildling houses in Lego bricks? Building the house of your dreams, but then getting frustrated as you couldn't find that specific 3-dotted thin brick you needed according to plan? Of having to start it all over because you skipped that one crucial step? Or did you prefer to play around, ignoring any provided plan? And now, as an adult? Do you build your dream house brick by brick, working yourself to blood sweat and tears? Or do you consult an...

Hi Reader, “It’s not about creating a digital strategy for our business but about creating a business strategy for a digital world.” A quote from Lidia Fonseca. As Pfizer’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Lidia is responsible for all data and technology solutions across the organization. Organizations need to adapt to the changing environment and implement digital and data in their everyday operations and workflow. But I hear you think… where do I start? I’m already using data, right?...
